About Alaska Cruise Hub
Alaska Cruise Hub is an independent planning resource for people booking an Alaska cruise. We don't take money from cruise lines. We don't run sponsored content. We write what we actually think.
What We Cover
Every major Alaska cruise port — detailed guides to what to do, what to skip, how to get around, and how much to budget. Shore excursion reviews that compare ship-sold vs. independent booking. Ship and cruise line profiles that go beyond the marketing brochure. Packing guides, planning checklists, and the 200+ questions we've heard from first-time Alaska cruisers.
Our Editorial Standard
We use affiliate links on some excursion and gear recommendations — that's disclosed clearly on every page that contains one. Affiliate relationships don't influence which tours we recommend or how we rate them. If a tour is overpriced, we say so, even if it has an affiliate program.
Cruise lines do not pay us for coverage. We've never accepted a complimentary cruise. Our port coverage is based on actual visits, firsthand reporting, and continuous review of operator feedback and seasonal conditions.
The 2026 Season
We update our content before each Alaska cruise season. Port hours, tender/dock status, excursion prices, and ship itineraries all change year to year — we verify against current operator and cruise line data before publishing. If you spot something that's out of date, use the contact form and we'll correct it.
